I can't believe this is an ACE campground. There are no trees for shade. There's one set of four bathrooms at the entrance, so far away. The dog leash law is not enforced. Not up to ACE standards. We won't return here.

Very good experience. I have been going to old town for 35 years. The maintenance people who live on site are the best!!!

Good campground and the bathrooms are nice, but they don't get cleaned often enough.

Trailor campers felt free to walk their dog through the middle of our campsite and continued to walk through our campsite when we asked for them not to. They honked their truck horns repeatedly and systematically. They set off dynamite in the lake near the shore adjacent to our campsite from their pontoon. The bullying and intimidation was unwarranted and relentless. When reporting to the security guard, he pointed out one of our cars parked on the grass for tent unloading. And then made excuses for the trailor campers having their trucks and boat parked in the grass their whole stay. Very disappointing and unpleasant experience.

I get to my reserved spot, and there's a homeless couple there with tons of stuff sprawled everywhere. I could not get ahold of anyone by phone and no one was working at the entry booth so I had to wait for them to leave before I could set up. This is concerning to me because I have small children, so no one came between campers to make sure these homeless addicts didnt leave needles or anything else gross behind on the site. That night, young campers were blasting music and yelling at each other all throughout the night, there is no enforcement of the noise ordinance. The final straw were very rude people in an RV next to my tent site, who thought they were entitled to my campsite. They kept walking their dog through my campsite where my children were playing and when asked to please stop, they started yelling and being extremely rude, and then decided to come set up a baseball game ON MY CAMPSITE. They refused to leave and I could not get ahold of anyone to assist us in getting them off our campsite. No one answered the phone, no one at the entry booth and no park ranger drove by for at least 2 hours. It escalated almost to the point of a physical altercation. I will never camp at Perry Lake again.
