This is a nice park with some nice sites but I highly recommend to NOT reserve in loop A, as I dont know if its the camp host or what but the very first site on the right as you drive in is full of tons of stuff. Its obvious someone is living there longterm who is a handyman type with many extra vehicles, boats, old tires and more. I would recommend loop E if you stay at this campground.

Very peaceful spot to camp for a week. Can be difficult to level out the camper. Definitely would recommend.

This has potential to be a beautiful and welcoming camp ground. Sites need some leveling. Grass needed to be mowed. Was pretty empty when 1st arrived. Camp host allowed us early entry since sites were available.

A quiet place with beautiful views. The bird watching was great including a black herring, eagle and pelicans. No issues with the site itself.
Only negative I have is the amount of chiggers we got and the fleas our treated pups came home with, but then again, it’s nature. :) just bring your sprays to pretreat you site more than once.

We had a wonderful weekend camping at Old Town. Great peaceful place to camp. We also enjoyed the town of Osawkie. We golfed at the Village Greens Golfcourse which is great. And we ate at the local Mexican Restaurant which was very good. All and all we had a fun weekend.

Camp attendants were nice, im not sure who the other people were, but they seemed to be part of their group. lawn mowers on trailers partially blocking the road way, looked like junkers collecting stuff. The female actually took our soaps from the shower house, we actually had to wait for her to get it out of her truck. We used to camp there quite a bit. We will not go back anytime soon.
