What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Slough creek (So. Point) is always great. Large campsites which gives you good privacy. Most all sites have a water view. I especially love how they have recently cleared the dead trees and brush which has made the views incredible.

The site was clean, there is plenty of camping room, the grass was mowed. The camp ground was crowded but no crazy night time antics. The neighbor did park his boat and car on our camp site but I wasn't in for a battle. Too peaceful. It would be nice if that was better regulated. Boats and cars tend to go where ever they want. Love the park. Thanks,

We camped in Southpoint, right on the water front, and since the trees and brush have all been cleared, we had a beautiful view of the lake! It was so nice to see people out again, with little lights and campfires everywhere!

This is a great site, but needs more gravel put in. It rained a lot and we had nothing but mud. Our outdoor mat was under the mud and the water. Also this spot could use some leveling.

Slough creek used to be our favorite campground. It’s really hard to get an all electric and water campsite even booking in February.

OK, we were there early in the season, but we would have appreciated somewhat clean women's bathroom in Worthington loop. Not to mention the non-existent toilet paper.

Nice wide & long gravel pad. Recent trimming of trees has helped.

We tried to check in on Thursday evening when we got back from dinner (7:30pm). Attendant office was closed even though earlier when we went to dinner the sign indicated office would be open until 8 pm.
We loved how the shoreline in South Park has been cleaned up. We now have a beautiful lake view from almost every site without all the brush and trees in the way). Way to go Corp of Engineers!!
