The campsites are great! BUT if you plan on bringing a boat or any watercraft, good luck getting a parking spot at the ramp. People who don't even stay at the park and some who do not have park passes clog up the ramp. You will be lucky if you see the camp host. Anyone can drive right in. My opinion, there needs to be more control of the traffic into the camp grounds. Stop allowing anyone and everyone utilize the ground amenities causing the visitors who pay to stay there not to be able to. Again, the park itself is well maintained and gorgeous but the unnecessary traffic is horrible! Especially on nice wknd. And yes there is a public boat ramp outside the park.

There are too many dogs with owners that do not respect others. They let their dogs run around and or bark all day and night, so the idea of getting away and enjoying yourself is ruined by barking dogs or stepping in poop. Slough creek used to have a no dog loop at locust loop and that was the best thing ever for those of us that do not want to be bothered by dogs or even those worried for the safety of their children or that have animal allergies. Please bring a no dog loop or area back!!!!!!!

Lots of cigarette butts lying around the area. It also needed gravel as the area was extremely muddy where person had to exit RV and around picnic tables. Won't be booking this site again.
