Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Power pedistal was not supplying 30 Amps of power. No shade at this site. Neighboring campers in site 33 had an electric golf cart and we're drinking all over on the grass as well as the roads. Children were operating it.

We always enjoy camping at Slough Creek campground Lake Perry. We like to take our kayaks and explore the shoreline. We like that the sites are spread out between spots with lots of grass for children and pets to enjoy. It is one of our favorite places to camp!

The campsites are great! BUT if you plan on bringing a boat or any watercraft, good luck getting a parking spot at the ramp. People who don't even stay at the park and some who do not have park passes clog up the ramp. You will be lucky if you see the camp host. Anyone can drive right in. My opinion, there needs to be more control of the traffic into the camp grounds. Stop allowing anyone and everyone utilize the ground amenities causing the visitors who pay to stay there not to be able to. Again, the park itself is well maintained and gorgeous but the unnecessary traffic is horrible! Especially on nice wknd. And yes there is a public boat ramp outside the park.
