What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Restrooms need some deep cleaning! Im not sure they've been cleaned at all this year. Wasps nest are really bad around the dump station near the gate.

We have camped at Slough Creek many times, but the park was in better shape and looked more beautiful than I have ever seen it. It was mowed and trimmed, and it was a joy to be there. Keep up the good work!! I have seen it at times when we would remark how badly it needed to be mowed, which just contributes to the insect problem. We were very pleased this time. Please continue to keep this beautiful campground in good shape.

Clear signs for campground access and frequent patrolling of park attendants & park rangers (we asked for help with a wasp nest on the electric post and she was very helpful).
Tree coverage is limited in the area, luckily this section had some coverage.
Pros of this site: electricity, table, ample parking space, not a shared space/site
Cons of this site: not as flat as would have liked, especially for tent and volleyball set up, poison ivy, distance from restrooms
Playground near the entrance is small but convenient if you have small children. Shelter access and benches available which were a plus.
Bathrooms closest to site could use some upcoming, especially toilets. Wall hooks would be a great addition! Thank you for plenty of toilet paper.
The other shower/restroom area had great parking space and mowed grass for walking access. On the women’s side, 4/6 showers worked but not all drains… so water was stagnant and traveled down to the restrooms.
*facility phone number does not work

I always have a great stay! I choose this campground and this one only! I never stay anywhere else. The people who run the gate are awesome people. I just love love love to camp here!! 🫶
