What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Since we are able to go through the week it is always very quiet. I wish there were better areas to fish from the banks. There is either too much rock, too many weeds to navigate through our both.
The gentleman at the front gate is so very friendly and a joy to speak with.
I didn't check the Bath house this time potting to ise the camper shower. However, the showers at the park -- especially the large one -- is so nasty and in need of repair and updating.

s037 is possibly the best camping spot in the state. Surrounded by woods, neighboring sites aren't too close, restroom right across the street and has a private path down to the water. Only 2 complaints: The 3am boat cruising by with radio blaring and people yelling and the bugs (ticks and mites) falling out of the trees.

Campsite is great with a nice view of lake at the backside of camper. This particular site needs more gravel added where the rain water washes down the hill and leaves mud right at the front door of the camper. Heavy rains caused a lot of mud.
I stayed through the 4th of July where fireworks are NOT allowed (the reason I camp at slough creek) However people do not obey. MANY m80’s and half sticks went off this weekend. They were very disturbing to pets as well as to our ears as they were right across from us. People have no respect for others. I saw no ranger/police presence in this area which makes me want to change my plans for next year.

We always love camping at Slough Creek but this visit had a few disappointing aspects. The grass at South Point Loop between sites 79-90 is very high. That area wasn't cut when the rest was. There is a window broken in the bathroom closest to site 79 and has been for several weeks. These are minor details but you asked. We will continue to camp at Slough Creek just as we have for 20+ years.
