What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Always a fun time. Everyone is nice, and minds their business for the most part other than just being friendly. Owners are always nice and great you with a smile & trash bag for your camp site! I grew up camping here with my parents and family, I now have my own stuff and bring my own family!

The bathrooms and showers leave a lot to be desired. Topeka is but half an hour away and I enjoyed sightseeing .

We were there for opening day. The sites were not mowed. The bathrooms were tolerable at best.

People bring there dogs and let them run free, and when they go some were they put the dogs in their camper and the dogs bark the whole time. I went for 3 walks to to stay away from the barking dogs. this has happened 4 times this summer.

I always love camping at Slough Creek South Point Loop. The only drawback is the piles of wood/trees that sit in the open spaces. I understand the piles but wish that they could be burned during the winter so that come spring, the beauty could be appreciated.
