Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Nice campground, friendly people. Wish they would do something with the brush pile in the center of the campgrounds. Seen snakes and skunks coming in and out of it. I'm afraid for the kids that try to go play on it. We always warn any kids or parents about it, but I know we don't catch them all

campground is fine, bathrooms are outdated. Host is off tues and weds, nobody cleans bathrooms on those days, we stayed for 14 days, they do the very minimum on cleaning at this campground, they never once mopped the floors while we were there, it takes them about 10-15 minutes top to clean 4 bath/shower rooms on our loop. They used a spray bottle and rag to clean them. Bugs, spiderwebs, mold on floors along the walls. I told the Gate Host about this and they said they rarely go in those facilities and had no idea about the cleanliness and would say something to the loop Host. There were no changes while we where there. We are full timers and have stayed in all kinds of places, this was be far the dirtiest we’ve been. but.. the fishing is very good on this lake.

Camp site was clean and close to the water. Pretty level spot as well. I have no complaints!

Clean and level campsites for campers.
Restrooms are cleaned every day.
The staff are very helpful.
The park rangers make rounds daily.
They could use a few more 50 AMP campsites.

Grounds are great. The bathrooms were some of the best I have used while camping. We had a great time. We will be back.

The bathroom and showers were filthy - ants everywhere, paint falling off the walls, showers hardly working. It looked like they hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in weeks. On top of that, we were tent camping, and at 8:00 AM they started cutting grass around our site, waking everyone up. I would not go back here ever.

All summer it seems the firepits have been full of trash or full of ash.
The firepits used to get cleaned out and if someone left trash they received a fine.
