What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Nice campground and facilities. Suzanne and Jerry are the best campground hosts ever. Toilets and showers were decent. Most campsites are lacking shade and some of the better ones on the water lack utilities. My site was great, but probably the only one I’d want given my particular preferences. It was sufficiently pleasant that I extended my stay an extra 3 nights. This time of year (October) there are few campers, so lots of privacy and quiet. Saturday night there is an outdoor bar and music venue with a band about a mile away at a public marina. So not totally quiet from 9-midnight. But just that one night. There’s also a bit of traffic noise sometimes from a bridge about a mile across the lake. But otherwise it is all natural as far as one can see from lakeside. There are many miles of trails to explore in the park, and good biking on park roads. All in all, a good camping experience near where I live.

We have recently decided to try a different t campground at Perry Lake. We are really enjoying Slough Creek. The space between the campsites are great. Don’t feel packed in. Can’t wait for our next weekend out there

SO 21 is perfect for being by the water; however, there isn't any shade since they cut down the tree that was there. Also, it is not very level.
The area is clean but the restrooms/ showers are horrible!
