What Guests Are Saying
Slough Creek offers beautiful, spacious campsites with stunning lake views, making for a peaceful camping experience. Many campers appreciate the friendly park staff and well-maintained grounds, although the bathroom and shower facilities need significant improvement. Despite some issues with cleanliness and site layout, overall, visitors enjoy their time at the campground and plan to return.

Love camping at Slough Creek and especially during the week when it's less crowded on the lake and in the campground. The gate attendants, Jerry and Suzanne, are the sweetest and most helpful individuals and they pay attention to the details of individuals who are sites that they aren't supposed to be in and in cleaning up when campers fail to do that for themselves.

We stayed in SouthPoint campground. The north-most restroom in this campground was closest to where we camped and the one we used. One side was closed during the 3 days we were there and the other side had a non-working light, so it was completely dark at night. While it wasn't horribly dirty, no one cleaned it or serviced it while we were there Fri-Mon over the weekend.
The closest shower house in the next campground over was not as clean and had 2 showers that I tried (one men's, one mixed) that had no water. The rest in the men's shower heads are so limed-up that hardly any water would come through. It was cool outside during our stay and I could get no hot water in the shower even after running for 10-15 minutes. My wife said the women's were the same.

Just an fyi sites S088 and S089 are combined. I felt sorry for our neighbors as they had maybe 10 ft between their front door and the back of our camper. S089 has a decent "front" space but we expected to be solo on our site as nothing said anything different. Overall it was a decent stay but in the future we will not reserve either of these sites.

I find it to be one of the most expensive COE parks we have been to, and the shower houses have not been painted or power washed in years. The fixtures are all in a state of disrepair and it seems the Host at this park, while they are numerous appear to be Squatters that don’t get out much.
