What Guests Are Saying
The Banks of the Cumberland Campground has potential with scenic river views, but maintenance issues are evident. Road conditions are poor with deep holes, and the fire pits require cleaning. Additionally, some sites are dangerously close to eroding hillsides.

Campgrounds not kept up. Roads in and out are sketchy. Road to get out of site had large deep holes from wash out. Fire pit had plastic bottles, ashes 3/4 up, hasn’t been cleaned out in a while. The sites on the river are 3 feet from where hill is washing away except 1 site which was washed away with the rig

We had spot 6. Loved it beautiful spot by the river.

Would definitely stay here again but owners really need to cut some dead ash trees that hang over campsite by the river. The one in site 6 is really scary. Overall clean, and convenient place, no bathhouse so you need to be self contained.

We loved our stay here. We got the only pull through spot which put our trailer parallel with the river it was scenic and quiet and private-ish.
I love waking up and having coffee outside and just watch the river go by. Very peaceful.
However if you don't get one of the four spots by the river you're out in the sun and do you have no view of the river.
There is a grocery store, an Ace hardware and a twice the ice machine within walking distance. The only down side is this little town has no laundry mat.

No question at all...the most scenic, quiet and well equipped campground close to Dale Hollow. No comparison to the State Park Campground. Nothing more relaxing than waking up in the morning, having coffee directly on the banks of the Cumberland River and watching the fog lift. Owners are so nice and friendly...I guarantee you’ll enjoy it.
