We really enjoyed the weekend. The facilities were excellent. The only reason for the 4 star was there is zero reception for Verizon customers but that’s not the fault of the campground. The host were all very friendly and helpful.

I stayed in the Upper or "A" loop which is older but has plenty of mature trees that provide a lot of shade. However, this is the older part of the campground and most of the sites could use some serious TLC. Our site was also pretty trashed when we arrived, and I spent an hour or so cleaning up the previous guest beer caps, cigarette butts, and general trash.

Nice quiet campground - with the exception of my grandchildren sometimes! Small playground. Great bike riding for children. Nice clean bathrooms and showers.

Only spent one night but the campground was very nice and clean and sites are pretty roomy. The shower rooms were abundant and clean. A lot of wildlife in the area and the beach is only about 2 miles away. It was a very nice stay. Absolutely no cell reception so that is the only downside.

Smith Ridge is a lovely campground to enjoy while visiting Green River. It is a great place to view deer especially.
The bathrooms could be managed a little more timely because there was no toilet paper when needed.
We were there over the Fourth of July and thought the grounds should have been mowed closer to the 4th. The grass was taller than last year.
The road throughout the campground has always been an issue when we have camped in the past but some improvements were noticed this year.
All in all it is a great place but just a few areas could be touched up
