Love smith ridge. Very white and family oriented. No cell service but if you have WiFi it’s all good. Really wish this campground would stay open I to October because that’s the best time of year to camp. Also got us we still work and it’s much closer than the other campgrounds to our work. Maybe if you done an October trick or treat week. You could get more campers. I know several that would be there. We love to camp but you just can’t reserve at the other campground at this time of year!! I really think you all would benefit from holding this campground open a bit longer!

The electric is not adequate enough to support the campground, when they have several campers on site you will have problems. Just be aware.

Smith Ridge Campground is wonderful. Peaceful and more quiet. Just wish it would stay open at least till first week in October because it’s the best time to camp.

First time visiting just to check out the area. Lovely area. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Campbellsville which is only 10 minutes away. Loved the lake and all the access. Stayed in 17a. Site was clean. Not level but definitely not bad. Electric hookup was at the back of the site with water at the front. heads up, there is zero cell service. The sites are a bit tight. Parking is limited to your driveway between the rail road ties. They waited till 9:30PM to inform us we were not parked correctly with our boat. The dumpsters for trash are only at the entrance. The amount of gnats/noseeums is insane. It’s very dog friendly. Many dogs were with their people. The bath/shower house is just ok. Definitely seen better.
