We had a great time camping in Dog Creek. The only downfall was the bathrooms were disgusting. Couldn't shower either as there was little to no water pressure. But we are used to roughing it for the weekend atleast when camping. Overall would still recommend.

Dog Creek used to be a great place. This year it has changed for the worse. The bath houses are disgusting! Absolutely filthy! There’s never any soap to wash your hands with and half the time I have to take my own toilet paper. The feminine hygiene bins are overflowing and disgusting. The showers are filthy. I feel cleaner swimming in the lake than I would taking a shower at the bath house. Last year the bath house was always clean. In fact every time I was there the cleaners were there cleaning in the morning. Would actually smell like bleach. Soap dispensers were always full and always had toilet paper. If you’re camping in a tent this is definitely not the place to camp because you have no other option but to use the bath house. It’s sad how far down this place has gone. Since I have reserved my camping here I will have to put up with it this summer. Too hard to get sites anywhere else now because sites have to be reserved way in advance to get one. If it weren’t for the lake I would cancel. It’s a shame because this campground used to be so well kept. I have made many calls and complaints to the corps of engineers and their excuse is that it’s a new cleaning business and they are having difficulty finding workers. Then the owner of the business should be down there cleaning it or quit. They definitely shouldn’t be paid. If this place was inspected it would be shut down. Something needs to be done about this!

The campground itself when we got there for about the first 4 days The grass was extremely tall
We were there from Thursday till Sunday and we only seen a park ranger go through one time.
We never did see a sheriff or anybody go through the campground.
The attendance only work a couple hours a day.
The campground itself is beautiful but the security in the campground is very lacking.
