It was the perfect camp site! Quiet, close to the beach, and the hill to walk back up from that beach was very easy to climb.

Omg where to start. We live dogcreek.. it's a hole on the back of the lake. Not alot of boats speeding by .super clean and it's not over crowded.. all the camp spots are pretty nice .. easy to back up in to hook everything up . It's just a really nice place . We go every year .

Great location, clean but aged showers and restrooms. Overall great experience. If you have a bad time it's because you weren't prepared.

Dog Creek campground is pristine! Lakeviews and accessibility to the lake for swimming and kayaking are excellent. The bathhouse is fabulously clean and well maintained. With swimming, kayaking and Mammoth Cave a short 45 min drive, this place is a jewel. We will be back!

Very nice campground, quiet mid week to weekend stay, clean restrooms, friendly camp host/volunteer.
We arrived in the mist of a scary thunderstorm and a rising river, thankfully our site was high enough to not be affected.
Recreation.gov and and a campground volunteer kept us posted on important changing weather conditions.
Visited Mammoth Cave National Park, awesome cave tours and rode the bike trail from the park to Cave City and back.
Definitely will return to explore more of the area.

Love Dog Creek but the grass was way past due to be cut when we got there...arrived on a Sunday and the grass didn't get cut till Friday or Saturday, and then the people mowing did a terrible job! The bath house was well cared for, clean and well stocked.
