The people were great, the grounds were great too. The showers and bathrooms need some TLC.

Bathrooms were clean and the showers were great compared to other campgrounds. Attendees were wonderful. Cell reception was spotty at times, but would recommend this campground to anyone.

We stayed at the Dog Creek campground recently for a weekend getaway. We will definitely return! The campground and restrooms were very clean and the staff very friendly. Lots of tall trees, especially on the sites closer to the water. At night, the stars were amazingly bright! We have camped in lots of places and this campground now ranks highly for one of our favorites that is close to home.

We camp at Dog Creek off and on all summer long. While we have always had a great time, this last visit left me aggravated. The grass at all the campsites needed to be mowed. I have a 1 1/2 year old granddaughter and the grass was past her knees in some spots! we camp for the kids and they could not play in the grassy areas without complaining about being itchy. This one visit will not keep us from going back but it is an issue that I feel should be addressed.

Great and friendly campground. Although B15 is strange since to back into it, had to buck the one way sign. Nice visits with other campers. Our walk thru reveal that most of the sites had a lake view. Will be going back.
