Cave Creek campground is highly praised for its cleanliness, friendly hosts, and enjoyable amenities, including a boat ramp and private showers. Many campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and well-maintained facilities, making it a favorite spot for family gatherings and outdoor activities. However, there is concern about its potential closure and reduced operating schedule, which has saddened many regular visitors.

Camp host is wonderful and very helpful. Loop A has beautiful deep woods yet is hilly and rocky. Many challenging sites to back into. Mine was short and tough to get into with a big drop off at the end and on one side and I only have a 17 ft trailer.
Cell reception was great. A beautiful area but I would like to see what the other two loops are like.

We have visited Cave Creek three times this summer and our experience each time has been amazing. The staff, especially Darlene worked with us extensively when we were trying to stay an extra couple of days to get us a site.
Thank you
