We’ve stayed at the campground several times. Always a good experience, even with the lake having been drawn down to such an extremely low level, we still had a very enjoyable stay.

Wonderful place as a campground, but beware of campground scavengers at your absence.

Well my spot 52 would have been better if the electricity would have worked but it didn’t so our heating system didn’t work because it was really cold that night! Also you need to plant some trees to shade the spot and block the wind! Other than that it was Fair

We were in site A07 and when we got there the dumpster was full and there was a huge pile of bags of trash next to the dumpster because the trash truck had forgot that dumpster. we were down wind from that and the dump station so the smells were pretty bad until we complained and they came and got the trash. Then our experience was much better after that. There was a nice short trail, although we prefer more trails and longer trails it was a very scenic trail. The water was way down, so all the people that came with their boats couldn’t get their boats in the water. We weren’t planning on boating, but if you are, you may want to check the water level before you go because people brought their boats and they just sat there. The showers were great and the Visible Verizon service was great. The hosts were very good. They called and got the dumpster emptied right away.
