Canal Campground is highly praised for its spacious and clean sites, friendly hosts, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite among campers. Restrooms are disgusting. Bugs all over the floor literally in piles. Obviously they don’t sweep, it was not clean either. We were there for a week, it stayed the same. There were laundry facilities as well, they were covered in bugs and urine from the bees that hovered. Bugs inside the machines as well. The park is very pretty and great for hiking but I was very happy I had a camper!

Great place. We come & go each month almost. Been coming for 10 years. We love it! Spaced out sites. Bath houses/showers in each section. Great people, everyone is up & golf carts put up at 9pm. Driveable to town (grand rivers) golf carts are able to drive on road to town. Nothing negative to say about this campground. Come join us!!

Overall, this is a nice site. The only issues we had the water faucet was too close to the ground for us to use our water filter and pressure regulator. We had to use a regular non-filtered hose to get it to fit. Also, we had to raise the front of the trailer a lot to get level. Side to side leveling wasn’t bad. Be careful making the turn when leaving because there is a sawed-off stump that might get in your way.
