People were friendly, good shower and toilets. Seems like a swimming beach and playground. It was nice to see the lake at sunrise and probably sunset (I got there after dark). Someone had mentioned a fish smell, and it does have a small odor. My site was back-in (which for me is more difficult), but it had a nice view of the water. Decent access to highway about 10-15 min away. I was just staying there 1 night on a road trip to and from other locations.

Nice quiet campground. The site has a beautiful view of the lake. It’s level and easy to back into. It wasn’t a real good site to fish from in April because of the high bank and bushes & debris in the water. It’s a great place for relaxing. Would definitely pick Fisherman Row at Canal again.

Wonderful helpful staff. Easily available well-priced firewood. Nice sites. Huge tree stump next to tight curve in road.

Restrooms are disgusting. Bugs all over the floor literally in piles. Obviously they don’t sweep, it was not clean either. We were there for a week, it stayed the same. There were laundry facilities as well, they were covered in bugs and urine from the bees that hovered. Bugs inside the machines as well. The park is very pretty and great for hiking but I was very happy I had a camper!

Great place. We come & go each month almost. Been coming for 10 years. We love it! Spaced out sites. Bath houses/showers in each section. Great people, everyone is up & golf carts put up at 9pm. Driveable to town (grand rivers) golf carts are able to drive on road to town. Nothing negative to say about this campground. Come join us!!
