What Guests Are Saying
Canal Campground is highly praised for its spacious and clean sites, friendly hosts, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite among campers. Visitors enjoy the quiet atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and biking. While some noted minor issues like dated showers and occasional noise from golf carts, the overall experience remains positive, with many planning to return.

Our two favorite campgrounds are Lincoln State Park and Canal, with Canal being #1. It has the nicest and most level pads, and your choice of woods, waterfront and or beach front. Then the town of Grand Rivers which an awesome little town. Everyone must try it!

Do not put any RV on this site. Tent only. It is a pull thru site but the useable space to setup an RV is nonexistent. It is all hill. The only level place on this site is the tent pad. The site is very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed viewing the dear and the lake.

We stayed in site #103. When there are no group reservations, the open up sites 103-110 to everyone. It is a large paved parking area with “pull over” concrete pads. No problems with w/e or dump station. Other areas of the parks are much nicer.

Very quiet, shady camp site. Loved seeing all the deer up close and calm. The attendant was very nice and polite. The bath houses are clean and updated. A wonderful experience.
