Canal Campground is highly praised for its spacious and clean sites, friendly hosts, and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite among campers. Visitors enjoy the quiet atmosphere, well-maintained facilities, and opportunities for outdoor activities like fishing and biking. The help and accommodations were great. We left early because of the heat. But Canal is a great place to camp.

Web-site was very helpful when we chose to change campsites. Our first site (57) required too much leveling due to the slope of the site. We used the website to book a different spot for our next night. Staff was very friendly and helpful at our check ins.

Only able to spend one night but such fun to watch the boats from our “front yard”. Couldn’t ask for a nicer spot to set up camp.

We had a blast!! Very nice clean campground!! Also fun that you can ride your golf carts into town and eat and play putput at Pattis. We stayed on the flats and it’s plenty of space for a big rv! Already ready to plan another trip!

We love camping at Canal. Lots of shade, listening to many different birds. It’s always clean and well cared for!

The campground itself is nice and well kept. There is an incredibly bad skunk problem. Multiple skunks sprayed tonight an hour before dark- I saw four at a campsite last trip and have seen dogs sprayed. You simply cannot be out after dark. Campground staff can be very rude, they have insulted every guest I have invited
