I had reservations for 20 days and they were made for a tent! My site was no way meant for a tent. I have never left negative feedback before but this place I have no choice. And this is not my first time camping, been doing it 7 years. Pictures of the tent and site speak volumes. I tried re-staking my tent 6 times to no avail, the rocks were too big, there was no place level except for where I had it and 2 huge ruts from campers being parked, concrete block ripped out of the ground and 2ft rusted re-bar sticking out I fell over 2x’s. The worst part tearing down my tent, I always place tarp (seen) all the water above me washed down under my tent and I had to wash the underside before packing, my $48 tarp I had to throw out! I tried to clean it and it smelled of sewage! Every time it rained I would smell sewage and I assumed it was from the septic system. But after a time with no rain I would still smell sewage! My tarp It became contaminated and couldn’t be saved. The $$ I spent on the campsite and just being on SSA. Never being offered another site, after me telling them it was not meant for a tent! And they knew I couldn’t put it in the grass because it was nothing but hills, ruts, rocks and high un maintained grounds. Mowed 1x in 20 days! I should be given 1/2 refund!
Horrible experience. I had reservations at another campground and I was a day late because of the time it took me to just clean the bottom of the tent
And after that campground I had to throw out my $698.00 tent I was using for over 9 months. When cleaning the nasty mold, stench mud from the tent I washed the water proof off and the moving pads I use inside ended up wet between the floor of the tent and moving pads. After the last campsite after this one when I tore the tent down everywhere I scrubbed the muck off the tent, my tent had mold stains all over the bottom outside. All I can say is of ALL the campgrounds I have stayed the past 7 years. This was the worst experience I had!

Was great, right on the water with hookups. Quiet and serene. Kids got to fish from the bank the whole time. Will definitely come back.

The past 2 years the park has really went down hill. no attendants. The grass is always tall and grown up in sites and pads. A storm came through and downed a tree which blocked the entrance into the park and there was no one to call. Loud campers late at night. It's sad such a nice camp ground has went to waste.

We stayed @ D23. Great spot looking out at the Lake. First time ever, the dump station was FULL, couldn’t dump. We was able to use the main dump at Guard Shack. Almost my favorite place to camp.

We have not been for a couple years and noticed that this trip, the campground has gone downhill. Rusty picnic tables. The site we rented (A53) has a huge rut, about 12-15 inches deep in the middle of the drive…when it rained the water gushed down the channel and our fire pit was underwater.

A great experience dealing with the staff but the bathrooms need some serious attention, because they are old and need repairs
