Bathrooms were cleaned and taken care of. Our campsite on D36 across from bathroom is nice spot however that Acorn tree isn't pleasant in October

Nice wide, level site. Enough room for screen house and 30 ft camper and then still area for parking for 2 vehicles, or 1 boat and a truck (unhitched). Two large bald cypress trees for shade but enough of an opening to have a nice view of the lake and not feel closed-in. Access to the water via stairs just up one site, but really nothing for kids to play in or any kind of beachy space. Boats probably cannot tied up without potential damage due to the rocky bank and rip-rap. With the lake being 40ft under water this spring and into summer, they did a great job of cleaning and restoring sites to level and clean shape. Thank you for a nice fall break!

The campground is pretty. Loop D campers are toooo close to other campers. Felt jammed in like sardines. Some campsites slide outs almost touch other campers slide outs. It appears the campers that volunteer in that loop allows their dog to run off the leash. Never saw a gate attendant. We felt it unsafe. The campsites are not level.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds around these parts of KY! We will be back next camping season.
There where 7 of us campers and we enjoyed every moment.

Beautiful park and very well taken care of. It was a little confusing when we got there because there was no one at the booth at the entrance and we were not sure how to check in. Fortunately, we saw one of the camp volunteers in a golf cart and we flagged him down and he told us that there would be tags on the post of our campsite so we had to just follow the loops to our campsite and found the tags for the vehicle vehicles. Make sure you have groceries because the closest city is about a 20 minutes away although there is a Dollar General close to the entrance. If you want a peaceful campground with beautiful views this is for you. We were in site D008 with water and electric.

This was a great surprise. A beautiful area that is well maintained by the lake.
