What Guests Are Saying
Moutardier Campground offers beautiful lake views, well-maintained sites, and a friendly atmosphere, making it a popular choice for campers. Many reviews highlight the cleanliness of the facilities and the helpfulness of the staff and volunteers. However, some bathrooms require maintenance, and there are occasional complaints about campsite spacing and noise from nearby boaters, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

A great campground! Sites are gravel and relatively level. Some sites have the fire ring in a step-down area which is odd but due to the topography of the land. Area around sites have some large rocks which make it tough to traverse between sites if camping with multiple parties. Would love to see an easier area to get to lake by foot from campgrounds.

Very beautiful views. We were tent camping which meant we were right on the water.pay close attention to how much space you have when booking some sites are much smaller than others. Luckily we had one large enough for our big text and a text over the picnic area.
The bathrooms are clean and the showers are some of the best I’ve had while camping. We will most definitely go back to Moutardier.

Campground spots especially those away from the lake are simply side of the road pullouts. The are not level and not wide enough to accommodate even small RVs. Showers were kept reasonably clean, but they suffer from disrepair and need updating. There are very friendly volunteer hosts but no park staff on site, so the hosts ability to help is limited. Finally, at least during our stay in the June the place is infested with ticks. They are absolutely everywhere.

We really enjoy the campground. It would be nice if the gate closest to the boat launch had a way for campers to go through instead of having to go all the way through the campground and around. The volunteers are nice.

This was such a perfect place to camp with my family and dogs. Lake access and the on-site host was amazing. We already booked for another trip.

We have been coming to this campground for years! Always a wonderful time. Site B006 has a great view of the lake. It’s pretty level and offers some shade.
The Marina has really had a wonderful much needed upgrade. Offers rentals, food, ice cream, merch, gas, etc.

good site with great view. Tree branches in the bottom of the tree need to be removed so that it will not look like bush.
