Campsite is clean and spacious; bathrooms clean. Showers were quarter fed, but not bad. I've made a point out of visiting every National Park I can- this one was not a wasted trip. A short walk to the visitor center and main cave entrance made it so convenient, probably more so than any other NP I've ever been to. Not much available on way in for firewood, and, if you arrive after hours there is none to find. Minor inconvenience, available in the camp store. I think this may have been one of my better visits due to the convenience of everything. Park and enjoy!

We had a great time at the campground. We were in the Group spots, which I recommend. Be aware that the only showers are at the nearby campstore, and you have to pay for them with quarters. The wood for purchase was a little pricey, but it was seasoned and lit very easily. There was plenty of small sticks and kindling to gather in the woods nearby, though it might be difficult if it was wet.

Mammoth Cave campgrounds are always delightful. A bit close to your neighbors, with RVs and tents in close proximity, but no more than most national parks really. Every time we've been we've seen deer walking through the campgrounds (and turkey more than half the time too). Clean facilities, the little store is nice, open until 7 when we went, and always has some firewood and a bite to eat. The fact that Mammoth has become a Dark Skies site in the last decade has really made the site great for stargazing. And of course the cave and the local tourist community is tons of fun.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. The sites were roomy and easy for big groups. We loved being walking distance to the visitor center (maybe a 10min walk?). It made catching the buses for tours a breeze and you are an easy walk to Mammoth Cave. Every tour was unique. More than I realized they would be. I really loved the lantern tours. The showers are coin operated if that is something you may have missed. Bathrooms were easy to get to. I also really loved the walking trails around the campground. Lots of options!

Great campsite. State at this campsite for two days. Had a great time.We stayed at number B20. Only little bit of Verizon cell service was available. At B24 you can get a little bit of T-Mobile reception.

Great campground. There were some noisy neighbors on the weekend. The bathrooms were mostly clean. I loved that we could ride our bikes to the visitor center and that there was a star bucks to get coffee before our cave excursion.
