Beautiful campground! Wish it had regular not coin-operated showers and a place to wash dishes.

We were having more noises than downtown New York with all the generators in operation to charge the batteries. Amazing. This was really bad. You go camping to relax and not being harassed by heavy constant noises. They should have zones with ‘generators free’. People were leaving in the morning to visit caves and their generators were in operation ALL DAY LONG…. Very bad experience with this campground.

This was a semi secluded spot. Very clean and nice set up for both tent and hammock

Nice campground, conveniently located. The lodge restaurant was delicious. All the shops were great. The Mammoth Cave system is spectacular to see. Very unique. Tour guides were great!

The sites were spaced far enough to offer privacy. Check-in was super easy and the campsite was well laid out. Restrooms were very clean and plenty of water spigots throughout the campground.

Altogether. this was a great stay! Our campsite was 110,D. Loop D had its own bathhouse with electricity, toilets, and sinks. It was very clean, even with it being Memorial Day Weekend and the park being super busy. This loop is right beside the camp store that has the showers, laundry, extra bathrooms, and a little store. The camp store had the basic items that you might forget or need on your trip: bug spray, firewood, spatula, etc. The firewood felt expensive for how small a bundle it was, but its expected on a busy weekend. It was also within walking distance to the visitor center which is really nice considering parking gets limited throughout the day. Campsite it definitely not level so beware of how big a tent you bring or if you use a camper. I would recommend this campsite to a friend.
