Water pressure in bath house was weak, as was hot water. Nice view.

Axtel Campground is highly praised for its friendly staff, well-maintained sites, and beautiful waterfront views, making it a favorite destination for camping enthusiasts. Visitors enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, ample space, and facilities like free WiFi, although some restrooms and showers have reported issues, such as lack of soap and water pressure. Overall, campers have had positive experiences and look forward to returning, despite some minor maintenance concerns.

Always a fun trip at Axtel. The only bad thing was the heat - which is not the fault of Axtel. I just wish that the hand dryers in the restrooms get fixed. All three dryers in the men's room do not work. This is in the F -G area. My wife says the hand dryers in the women's room do not work either. There used to be hand soap at the sink. My wife and I donate a soft soap dispenser each trip.
Integrated does a good job cleaning the restrooms.

We stayed at a site with no electricity or water. The site itself was beautiful. We were here a couple years ago. Both times the bath house has been a joke. The women's bathroom had three showers, two were out of order with standing water in one of them. Only one shower was working, but it only dripped water. I had to use the men's while my husband stood guard. The men's bath house if you use one shower, you get good water pressure. But the water is cold. There's no hot water. If you try to use more than one shower, then you just get drips of water. This seems so unacceptable to me.
