Axtel is one of our most favorite campgrounds. The whole park is unusually clean and the sites are a very good size.
The only complaint I have is that there is a couple that fills the "camp host" position who can sometime be very rude and unhelpful. Several times we have asked questions and they acted as if we were interrupting their work. I actually thought that the main job of being a camp host was to provide assistance to the campers. Maybe they should be retrained or replaced for a more amiable couple.

We love the campsites on the water! Also close to bathroom! Only wish they would update the showers in the bathroom!
