Pretty view and quiet. Attendants were very nice. There was garbage on our site from previous guests and the showers are very dated and in need of repairs. Perhaps they should check campsites upon departure and send the guest a friendly reminder if it is not left in suitable condition. I did not appreciate having to pick up someone else’s garbage. Otherwise, it was relaxing.

we have been visiting Axtel often for the last 3 years and we always enjoy our stay. we have grandchildren who like to camp with us, and during the warm months they swim and kayak with us at Axtel. they also take their bicycles and can ride all around the campground. my husband and i have a golf cart and enjoy being able to use it as well. the attendants are very friendly and helpful, and do their jobs well. all in all,we have never had a bad experience and will continue to visit this campground in the future.
