Our campsite was clean and ready when we arrived. Our park attendant was very polite and helpful. Laurel Branch is our choice for camping at Rough River. Bathhouse was awesome!

Laurel Branch is one of the best camp grounds around. The staff are excellent, so helpful with whatever you need.
It is one of the best places to camp with kids everything is in seeing distance, riding bikes, playing at the playground, visiting your next door campers, and the beach is amazing. Super place to camp!

We had a wonderful time! Tent camped and on Saturday a HUGE storm came in! Winds so high that 4 of us were lined up against the inside of the tent keeping it from blowing over! Once it passed, we loaded up all of our personal belongings and food and headed home (thankfully we only live 45 minuts away). Came back the next day to break the campsite down and pack it up....I guess a second wave came in after we left as the tent had rolled with the bed and chairs in it! Although it was a tad scarey, my grandkids will talk about this experience when they are old! Wouldn't trade it for anything! ♥ Will definately be back! The Rangers were wonderful and even called me to check on us! They were the best yet!
