Over all camp ground is berry nice. Camp host was not allowed to be on duty to answer questions some odd reason. Camp ground was full host needs to be there to check in campers and assist when coming early in the week. Still need a shower house in C section.

We where not able to attend our reservation. My husband's that lives in Georgia fell and broke her shoulder. I tried to contact someone from this website and could not find a way to reschedule. I am sure we would have loved our trip if we where able to go.

We were greeted at the entrance desk by two very kind folksl They had a nice general store with sundries, ice and wood. The first night of our trip we had a double campsite C-34/35. It was amazing. We had good cell coverage, too, so we could text and stream Netflix, etc. What a beautiful view! We decided to re-route our trip back so we could spend two more nights at Laurel Branch Rough River. The second time through we had site B-23. Wow! The best view ever. We stayed two nights and it's perfect. As an added bonus, there's a Dollar General store not far from the front entrance and a liquor store, gas station, etc. We shall return! Excellent!

The attendant was not at the toll booth when we arrived. Had to call COE for shower codes and no vehicle passes until Friday. I guess everything is being cut back. Don't understand, for as much as they charge for the camp sites I believe they could have an attendant available on Thursday afternoon. Why is it Customer service is always the first to be sacrificed.
Then I find out nobody needs a code for the showers. I waited 30 minutes for the showers. It was a family of four who lives up the hill (Not on COE) property. I watched them drive west and turn right going north. not towards The camp ground.

Quiet and very scenic. Most sites are right in the lake and most have access to WiFi hotspots which is nice. We were there in April so no swimming but the beach had just been updated and looked very nice. Extremely friendly staff.

The lady who met us at the gate to check in was awesome she was very knowledgeable of the rental schedule was kind and knew of a last minute cancellation and moved us to a much better location and it was beautiful. We were very very pleased! It make our experience much more pleasant than our original location we booked. The campground was very peaceful and quiet and it was kept clean and very well maintained.
We will definitely be back again!!
