Be nice if the nature trail was refurbished with the info signs that were posted identifying different trees, prehistoric shelters eyc

If you’re tent camping be aware that some spots will be directly on concrete so it’s difficult to stake down. Also the toilets at C are convenient yet very dirty and they have no running water. The bathhouse is quite a way from these sites so I would recommend bringing water, toilet paper and sanitizer or soap.

The new summer pool level is much lower so the camp sites are much father from water than in years past. Tried to bank fish and hosts ran my boy and me away from the beach access (no one was swimming) then we was told not to fish by the boat ramp. There was no other access to the lake except through someone’s camp that is on the water side. Everyone had a fire going all night. Smoke was overwhelming at times. I feel fires should be extinguished by midnight maybe to let people sleep comfortably. I’m not anti-fire and a fire is certainly part of the camping experience but so many fires in a small area was just too much. Host was respectful when asking us to not fish. Restrooms was fine.

Best campground manager I have come across in years. Angie is pleasant, engaging and checks on everyone to make sure they are enjoying themselves. Will go back again 100% because of her attitude and pleasant demeanor with all guests. She is engaged and awesome and really cares! 5 STARS FOR SURE!!!!

Location and sites are amazing. Plenty of space between. Many offer private spots looking directly over the lake. If you’re not on the lake side, the others have plenty of tree cover. No sewage hookup, but there is a dump station on site. Will definitely visit again.

The service on the outdoor toilets were smelly and very unclean no toilet paper. We camp there every year and the restrooms at Axtel were in the same shape. In the past it was better than this year. The hosts at Laurel Branch and Axtel are very friendly and accommodating this year.

Our spot was perfect. Lakefront and by the playground since we had our 4 kids with us. Everyone was friendly and the park attendant was so nice. The showers weren't all the great clean wise but it's camping.
