We always enjoy our stay at Rough River. We camped from Thursday to Sunday. The bathrooms close to our campsite were closed, which we didn't realize when we reserved the site. The main bathroom that was open was not cleaned (past it's always been acceptable). The floor in 2 of the stalls were slimy and gross. I attempted to clean it up, but it needed a cleaner. The camp site was clean and ready for us to use. The camp host was friendly and easy to communicate with. I will return, as this isn't typical.

I’ve noticed more and more campsites with no shade at all. The site I was on, B20, had no shade at all and in the heat of the day is one hot site. Your campground needs more shaded lots. Also, I think there should be a regulation that restricts non-disabled people from renting out the handicapped accessible sites because pushing up hill in a wheelchair can be hard for a wheelchair user to do at times.

Even though it stormed our whole trip we still had a great time and can't wait to come back! Everyone is so friendly and the campground is so clean, bathrooms included! We loved the easy access into the water from the rocks, perfect for kids to sit and play.
