Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. The facilities and areas are clean and we could tell a difference from last year. The lake is the same. Now, in my opinion the cost per night and car fee for an extra car is excessive. The one good thing I see about the high fees is it seems to be thinning the crowd. I say this because in past years the place is usually full and instead, the loop we were in was mostly abandoned. Keep raising the fee, I don't care.....

This is our 6th year camping at Twin Knobs. Check for rain conditions before you go as the beach may be closed due to flooding. Campsites and grounds were well maintained, bathhouse was not as clean as in the past and sadly the laundry is no longer available at the beach building. Also, the store was not open once this time. They seem short staffed. Will go back because it’s so pretty there. Thankful for lots of locals who pick up trash along the lake’s edge.

I want to start off by saying I have been camping here for 40+ years and am very disappointed in how this place is being ran. First off the cost. It is $56 a night for a single with electric. It used to be $20 to $25. There is a lack of camp host when needed, I saw maybe 3 or 4 working the whole campground. That explains why the bathrooms are not consistently cleaned and why Vista has purchased several new side by sides to ride. By the way, hearing a side by side early in the morning is not ideal when trying to relax and sleep. During the stay I saw 2 different ice cream trucks driving through the loops with music blaring selling ice cream. Don't get me wrong, I love ice cream, but I don't agree with them driving through selling it when it is supposed to be a quiet campground. The area has gone downhill ever since Vista started running the place. They no longer sell season passes to use the boat ramp so it sits the unused most of the time. I live close to the area and have always used that ramp to contribute to the campground. I am done with this campground until Vista is no longer running it.

We love this campground. Third time coming with our family. Beautiful setting, well maintained sites, clean bathrooms. We look forward to coming back.
