Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

Very disappointed the camp site is in desperate need for fresh gravel and the picnic table was rotted!! It seems they keep raising prices for camp sites but no up grades or maintenance

We stayed on A27, which is a double site. I have a 37 1/2 foot motorhome and the site might be able to park a small camper in front. We had a pickup with some more space parked in front of me. The site is level and easy to back into. The site is mostly shaded. It has 2 tables and 2 lantern hooks with a fire pit. The staff called me before and gave me their phone number in case I needed anything. They will deliver wood and ice to your site. Very nice staff members. It was a cold weekend, so we didn't get to do much outside. I still managed to take the trail off of the A loop over to the beach a few times. The campground is kept up very well. We have a few more trips planned there this year. We didn't use the bath houses, so we can't comment on them. The dump station is easy in and out and everything working properly.

We stay at this campground once a year and I've always enjoyed myself. This time, however, we found the bathroom doors locked at night each time we tried to access them. Luckily the shower stall was unlocked, and we were able to access one of those. Other than that, it was a cold but good trip.

The good: Gate stays open, campsites are spacious with nice firepit, picnic table, tent pad, paved access, and parking.
The bad: Faucet water trickled at best in shower house. Online campsite pictures seem outdated, because shaded vegetation privacy lacked. I could be seen from the main campground road.

We have been camping at Twin knobs for many years and absolutely love the campground. The camp sites are nice the lake is beautiful and there are so many
great places to eat around the area. If you like the outdoors you would love Cave Run Lake and camping at Twin knobs campground.

The campground was nice, clean and well maintained.
It is a family campground with a beach, boat ramp, basketball courts and other activities close by.
The trails are nice but could use a little better signage.
Friendly staff though not very knowledgeable of the trails.

Our host texted us the day prior to introduce themselves and tell us to contact them if we needed anything. That was very thoughtful, as we’ve never had that in the same loop over the years! There was also a situation that occurred and they were so very helpful and got it resolved. Love all the staff at Twin Knobs!
