Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. We was in C3 and our power box 50amp was out and our camp host went above and beyond and was able to get it fixed late in the evening! Without the host we would have been miserable due to the heat so we are grateful and we made new friends.

The site was very clean and the bathrooms were nice. It was also a quiet camping experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

Some of the walking trails needed cleaned from down trees and brush but great experience otherwise.

We stayed on A7 with electric hookups. The closest water was about 100 ft. or so away. The site was easy to back into and it was pretty level. We had room for my 37 ft. RV and a truck parked in front. There is some additional parking just up from the site. There is a trail down to the lake just beside this site. We parked our boat in the bay behind A loop, so it was an easy walk down to the boat. The new group, Vista, has made some improvements at the campground. The dump station had new hoses and a little better set up than last year. The forest service is doing some blacktopping in the campground to make improvements. The trails have been cut back and cleaned up. I'm hoping that when we get a new ranger for this district that he or she will be more aware of what needs to be done for the Daniel Boone National Forest.

We’ve camped at Twin Knobs for 25 years and have always found it to be a beautiful campground and a wonderful lake.

Campground was clean and quiet as usual. The Bathhouse had one restroom and one shower room out of order for the 5 days that we were there. This left one bathroom and one showroom for the entire Loop to use.

Very good infrastructure and lots to do. The water was nice and swimming great. Nice little hike up a hill. It would be good to remember that there are boats available for rent at the marina which can be an interesting day outing on the lake.
