What Guests Are Saying
Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

This was one of the best campgrounds our family has been to. The sites were spacious, our site in particular looked out over the water and was really pretty. The campground hosts were kind. We were there the last day of the season, so they were kind enough to offer free popsicles to my kids instead of just throwing them all away. All in all this was a great experience. We will definitely consider camping here again.
One more thing - the tent pad ground is HARD. Bring a hammer to pound your tent stakes into the ground. We forgot ours and had to use a large rock. You won't be able to just push them in with your boot.

We had a very good experience at Twin Knobs. We camp here often, but we had never camped during their Halloween events. The kids had a great time and it was a safe environment for them to trick or treat. The only drawback was that, for us older mamaws, it would have been great to have had a golf cart to ride around to take the kids. People were driving trucks and cars. Just for this event, I wish they were allowed. Other than that, the park is always clean and well maintained. The new management seems to be doing a great job.

Campground taken care of by some dedicated staff. Very well kept, bathrooms too. Gatehouse friendly. Only downside, couldn't get any firewood at 415pm, even when calling the number posted for help/firewood

We were pleased with the great staff at Twin Knobs. We got turned around and couldn't locate our site and asked one of the staff driving by and they gave us great directions. We had made a left turn instead of a right turn!
Enjoyed the lake trail as did our dog.
