What Guests Are Saying
Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

We love this campground. Nice large wooded camp spots. Plenty of space from the next campsite.

This is my favorite campground! I love the tree coverage and the proximity to the water. I have been going to this campground since I was a child and it never disappoints :)

Sandy and her team were great! The spot we had reserved was not the best fit for our camping gear so she went way above and beyond to help us change to a different spot that opened up that was a better match.
The camp host Tom and his wife were the best too!

Spot B13 is lovely, but there's a large drop off as you back in. The asphalt grooves suggest that lots of trailers have had issues getting in our out. It ended up okay, but with a different rig set up it might be harder to make that work. The spot below has a persistent water leak so the mosquitoes were out en masse. It's so clean and the camp hosts were amazingly active, kind, and helpful. Would camp here again, but possibly in a different spot.

We love it here. Plenty of room between camp spots. Always clean and grass mowed. Don’t really love the push knobs on showers. Feel like you have to push it ever.y 30 sec to keep water on.

Our site was beautiful no complaints there. But quiet time is no longer enforced. There were horns blowing people yelling and running up and down the road going the wrong way in the loops as late as 3:30 am in the morning. Fishing off the doc and won't move so you can exit your boat without being worried you'll fall. Motorized bikes and others on the dock walkways, and children sitting in the road way going up the ramp from loading the boat, and no adult supervision to be found. Nothing is enforced like it used to be. I sure wish Thousand trails were still over the camp ground. It was way better then. Vista really needs to step up!

We usually camp with family on July 4th and Labor Day. We always get a double site and a single for all the family. However if you aren’t sitting on your computer the moment they release a date 6 months prior to the date you want, you may not get a satisfactory site. We love Twin Knobs. We had to take 3 sites close together which worked out ok but not what we would have preferred. We also had one couple who had a blow out on the way and had to cancel, which was probably a god send as her grandmother passed away that night. We were able to get a partial refund which we were grateful for. The host were nice and campground is well maintained. We love the lake also.

We love going to twin knobs. Everyone is nice. The staff are very great. I’ve run into some issues with reserving a spot online within five minutes. The staff at twin knobs had me taken care of. I give them five stars. I would give them more, but they only let me give.
