What Guests Are Saying
Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

This campsite is really nice. Plenty of trees between sites for privacy. There is a pathway through the woods that takes you to the lake. The shore here has flat rocks so it's really nice lake access. My one complaint about this place is the campground sold scraps of woodcoated in a black substance to be used for firewood. It obviously had been used in construction for something and is toxic to burn. Thank God we didn't plan on cooking over a fire.

We love twin knobs and all the staff there they are all very accommodating every time we stay. We have not found another place similar to the setup and environment like they have. We stay there at least 8 to 10 times a year.

Beautiful, isolated & quiet! Driving the miles off the main highway was worth the calm, green, wooded space. Lovely walks around the RV loop and by the lake.

It rained, but I don't reckon I'll blame the camp for that. Bathrooms were clean, staff was great, beach was amazing. Wish some of the sites were a smidge further apart, but it wasn't an issue while we were there. Definitely recommend.

It's been a few years since we first visited Twin Knobs Campground but it still ranks as one of the best places we've ever camped at and we really enjoyed the weekend. The fall colors were peaking. Awesome!
Thank you to the maintenance team and grounds people for all the hard work. It shows. Careful maintenance and regular checkups before and after campers makes a huge difference. Very nice place.

Twin knobs campground and Cave run lake are beautiful. I hate to leave a bad review. Our campsite was full of leaves and not blown off upon arrival. The hosts in J loop had two dogs. When they left their site the dogs barked. On Sunday they left them unattended outside for at least two hours and they barked non stop. My husband finally found the campground manager and he came and sat with the dogs until the hosts returned. If it wasn’t for those two things we would have given an excellent review.

Since Thousand Trails is not over the campground the experience is 1000% better, everything from the new blacktop, cleaner bathhouse, movies and much more. I can't wait until my next camping trip to Twin Knobs.
