What Guests Are Saying
Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

Our first time there as campers. We have a 38' 5th wheel Jayco so choosing a site prior to our arrival was unclear how it would go. Our site was wonderful. Very shady with day time temps at 90's you wouldn't have a problem with the heat. We boated most of the day on, be the evenings and mornings were great.
Easy boat launching ramp very near our site. We'll go back someday. Certainly a nice place to visit.

I was very impressed with the Staff at the entrance, very helpful and always had a smile! My site was very clean and the restroms and bath house was well above average. The maintenance of the grounds was very nice and made for a plesent and quite camping experience.

Beautiful view, extremely quiet and peaceful. We booked three more trips the morning we left because we enjoyed ourselves so much. The campground was well kept, bathrooms etc were clean.

D009 is our favorite site over the years. Great workers.
Suggestions/observations (not complaints)
- this time noticed a lot more trash on the lakefront rocks. Suggest timely cleanup along the lake trail.
- there is a large fallen tree limb high up around the camp site. Looks like a strong wind WILL bring it down. Not good. Sitting at table facing the lake…the tree is off to the left.
- a great improvement would be put some sound proofing around the sewer plant generator…effects multiple potentially prime sites. Counters the noise policy.

Great site, except the pea gravel needs to be much thicker

Disappointing experience overall. Our site had very little tree coverage and sat very close to the road. There group across from us we're very inconsiderate. The kids and adults were loud and shouting well past 1am. No one was enforcing quiet hours. Their kids rode the bikes into our site early in the morning. We had reserved the site for three nights but after our experience the first night, we decided to pack up and head home after just one. We won't return to Twin Knobs.
On the plus side, the hiking trail was nice and we were able to get our canoe out on the lake easily.
