About Twin Knobs Campground

Nestled on the shores of Cave Run Lake, this camp is part of the larger Twin Knobs Recreation Area. There are more than 200 sites spread out over 10 loops under a dense forest of mixed conifer and deciduous trees. The recreation area includes two reservable group picnic areas. Group camping is also available.

The site we reserved was very nice. It had a level spot for tent, fire pit, picnic area, and plenty of space between neighbors. The staff at front gate were very friendly and helpful. They gave thorough instructions.

Amazing from every aspect!! We booked a last minute camping trip in October and we were impressed by the Trick or Treat, Haunted Trail, and the movie that followed at the Amphitheater! Best maintained campsites. Ours was perfect for kayaking, hammocks, tent camping and kids. The staff is extremely helpful. Lots of easy hikes to do with youngsters.
