About Twin Knobs Campground

Nestled on the shores of Cave Run Lake, this camp is part of the larger Twin Knobs Recreation Area. There are more than 200 sites spread out over 10 loops under a dense forest of mixed conifer and deciduous trees. The recreation area includes two reservable group picnic areas. Group camping is also available.

This spot was private and right across from the restrooms. We liked that there were a few parking spots at the restroom area, because our camp site pull in had a pretty large dip at the front of it. We preferred parking there since we were tent camping. The pad was spacious and lots of shade. Would love to stay at this site again!
