Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. I loved the campsite. It was large a good distance from other sites. The picnic tables and fire pit were well maintained and good size. The bath houses were very nice and well kept. Our site had good access to water, electric and sewer.
I was very surprised to learn that most sites do not have water. If we couldn't get a site with water & electric in the future, we would likely pass to find another campground.

Our favorite place to camp. Truly out in the woods, animals all around. All around great campground.

Bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Camping sites had plenty of space between each other. Hiking trails and views were good.

Nice COE campground close to Cave Run Lake. Well maintained by Thousand Trails staff. Friendly and efficient.
We stayed in Loop A and didn't check out any other loops, the sites in A were spaced far enough apart to give a sense of not being crowded and having a camping experience in the woods. Our site was one of only two in the A Loop that had water. No TV reception but internet was good with verizon.
Shower house was really clean.
There were two dump stations, but one was closed due to a clog (rumor). So we sat in line for about 30 minutes.

Twin Knobs was clean, quiet and BEAUTIFUL! The campsites were spacious and somewhat secluded; not on top of one another. Each section had a camp host, which is nice. We had site F11, and loved it. It is across from the bathhouses and close to the camp host. Cave Run Lake was a short walk, and was absolutely gorgeous; especially at sunset. I highly recommend Twin Knobs!
