About Twin Knobs Campground

Nestled on the shores of Cave Run Lake, this camp is part of the larger Twin Knobs Recreation Area. There are more than 200 sites spread out over 10 loops under a dense forest of mixed conifer and deciduous trees. The recreation area includes two reservable group picnic areas. Group camping is also available.

This was one of the best National Parks I camped at. Restrooms cleaned everyday. Park was clean grass cut. Hosts were extremely friendly. Will be visiting again when in the area.
Stayed for 14 days. Would recommend this park over anyone else.

Great place to camp. Wooded and shaded .
The Black top was built up to high in places but doable.
The shower was horrible!
The water never did get warm and there’s no place to sit to dress. No heat made it so uncomfortable.

Campground and site is great. However, DO NOT ask a question at the gate! Especially if Bob is working. Or if a simple question has to be asked to Sandy. He can be somewhat rude but she is especially rude.
