Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. I’ve been camping my entire life and this is the second worst campground I’ve ever stayed in in my life. Sites were small, poison ivy EVERYWHERE. They’re insane about the dumbest rules. Make sure your truck is backed in so they can see your tag and make sure you paid for your vehicle. The beach was gross, muddy and crowded. Tried to play a family game of wiffle ball on their field but the grass was so tall. If you’re looking for a good weekend at a campground, don’t go to Twin Knobs. I prefer woods, here you could see the woods, but god forbid you step off the gravel or asphalt and you’ll be eat up with poison ivy kisy like me, and two of my kids.

We enjoyed our stay but won’t ever want to camp near the dumpsters in the future. There was so much trash that you could barely open the dumpster doors and the smell was sickening! These need to be dumped more than once a week.
Also, we don’t have dogs and we were greeted with a big pile of fresh dog poop right on our campsite! Why are people courteous enough to not leave their dog’s poop for others to smell.

The restroom/shower facilities were kept very clean and I like the way they are set up. Beautiful huge trees. We had a view of the water. The hike up the knob was easy even in upper 90's weather. Lovely campground.
