Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Twin Knobs Campground is one of our favorite places, we’ve been camping there for 30 years. It’s nice because you have privacy and the lake is gorgeous.

We have camped at Cave Run for over 30 years; since my now grown kids were babies. Now my granddaughter is nearly grown and requested the trip again this year. We love that the campsites are wooded and there is a beach, store, firewood, and ice nearby.

Site H16 was a very level site and fit my 40 foot motorhome well.

During this visit we rented the West GU for a Father’s Day family reunion as well as a camp site in A12. We love the group area for gatherings because you have plenty of space, local bathrooms and lots of shaded area. Campsites are great as well. The only issue we had during our stay was the long wait at the entrance gate. While the crew was friendly they were slow and I think over whelmed. Great place to visit and camp.

This is a nice area. Don't be fooled by the nice entrance and main roads. Site are outdated and in improvements.
