What Guests Are Saying
Twin Knobs Campground offers a beautiful, wooded setting with spacious, clean campsites and friendly staff. Many visitors appreciate the easy access to the lake, well-maintained facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for family activities like fishing and swimming. Some concerns include check-in processes and the absence of water hookups at most sites, but overall, it remains a favored destination for campers.

Best campground for tent camping . The sites are spacious and fairly private as camping goes.

The maintenance at the campground has went downhill. We stayed at D loop and the site was nice and clean, however, the bath house was in disrepair. One of the showers, I assumed, we’re out of order because the door was locked, and remained locked for the entire week. The other remaining shower’s water pressure could be compared to pouring water out of a bottle through a straw. It had no head pressure and it was scolding hot! The pressure issue also extended to the toilets and sinks; you can imagine the issue with the toilets. Also, forget about getting soap from the dispenser to wash your hands because it was always empty. So, other than needing to drive to another bath house in a different loop everyday to shower, our stay was ok.

Campground and facilities are always clean and well kept. Camping sites have lots of shade and space between sites so you are on top of your neighbors. Sides are good sized with fire rings and picnic tables - we've been coming here for several years and have always had good experiences. A perfect place to camp for relaxation and activities in the water.

Beautiful lake and campground with many widely separated, shaded, private campsites with wide, level pads with plenty of gravelled side space with nice picnic tables, bear hooks and fire rings and electric hook-up. Nice trails that could be better maintained by cutting large trees that have fallen across the trail. Will definitely camp here again.

I love staying here. The grounds are always clean, bathrooms are always clean and well stocked, and the hosts are friendly. The kayaking at The Ole Cornfield that is just a few minutes away is a great, relaxing experience that I would recommend to anyone. The Frosty Freeze has great food. 100% one of my favorite places to stay.

The restroom/shower facilities were kept very clean and I like the way they are set up. Beautiful huge trees. We had a view of the water. The hike up the knob was easy even in upper 90's weather. Lovely campground.
