This is a nice area. Don't be fooled by the nice entrance and main roads. Site are outdated and in improvements.

Quiet, pretty, clean. Firewood for sale at entrance gatehouse. Lake is near, public beach as well. Running water in bathrooms, but shower is continue to press for water flow. Better than no shower. Bring shower shoes. Site was good, with firepit and grill on top.

Twin Knobs campground is a large campground but there is nice green space between the sites. You really get an in the woods feeling but your in a big campground. Great place for riding bikes.

On this trip we enjoyed the area and also rented the West GU for a family reunion. The camp site was great, clean and plenty of room. The only issue I had was the firewood we bought at the gate was wet and was hard to burn.

It was very clean and accessible. The campsites feel private. The campground host was friendly and available for anything we needed. Will definitely be back!

Camp ground hosts are great. They came around to the camp sites and left little animal figures.

The site was pretty, had a decent amount of space, and offered a baseball diamond and a volleyball rope. However, people kept walking and biking through the site. There was no way to close it off from the general public. We even had a random family walk on to the side and began using the baseball area…
You do have to walk a little ways to get to the main beach, but the site itself self offers some fun areas!

Very wooded and shady spot within walking distance of the lake. Felt like real camping.

Twin Knobs is one of our favorite campgrounds when combined with getting on the lake. Overall, their sites are well taken care of and clean. A couple suggestions though on overall design and amenities; Some of the sites are very difficult to back a trailer into as there are significant drop offs from the road and site pads. Filling in or expanding the approaches to the sites would help guard against damaging trucks and trailers. Second is to increase the number of sites with electric. Half the campground is primitive, and they have electric run to the bathrooms on these loops, so why not have electric to the sites?
